Young Thai coconuts VS mature coconuts

Don't quote me on this but young Thai coconuts might be better than mature coconuts.  For the most part anyway.  Young Thai coconuts have much more water inside of them and it's meat is so much more softer and easier to peel off than the meat of a mature coconut.  We don't sell them at my store so if you want to get them you have to special order a case of 9. Thankfully they are pretty cheap - $14 for 9 and if you are sharing them with somebody it works out perfectly. David and I ordered a case last week.  We ate two last night and I just made a smootie with one with a banana.  Lemme tell you:  Oh my goodness.  It was better than any breakfast I've had in this life.
