Wisconsin & nursing stuffffffffff

Hanukkah
My mom is home from Wisconsin.  She brought me home farm fresh cheese curds (I told her I'd eat a fourth of a cheese curd if she brought them back and she did:)side note ) She also brought home t-shirts for David and I. Cute yellow and green t-shirts with an image of the state of Wisconsin and a upside down cow with something written about cow tipping. Even though I don't think cow tipping is cool, it's still a really cute tee.

I brought home sterile needles home from work and vials of normal saline. I also took the 'practice' sponge-like thing home. It's so cool and actually what we're going to be tested on (my school has very similar ones). My unit had one because a insulin company sent them one with a new line of insulin products to try out and practice. I asked my boss if I could borrow the spongey thing to practice with. She was so funny. Anyways I have it.
I really need to be studying...not only do I have my injection evaluation Wednesday morning, I have my unit 2 exam for nursing 131 that afternoon. I've been so focused on the actual skills and not the terminology...I feel okay though. I just need to study. Thank goodness I have tomorrow off. So I can VOTE, study, and practice injections.
I still want to practice more. It's kind of fun. especially with my little spongey.

When I showed my mom my mad injection skillz, she kind of freaked out. It was kind of funny but awe.
