Finally saw this movie after hearing not so good reviews about it.  I liked it!


Also watched this movie this week - thought it was pretty interesting. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone interested on the issue of gender. the movie was about a little french boy believing that he is a girl. 


His parents make him cut his long hair.

It reminded of me this scene from V for Vendetta:

Another great movie. 

What I've been making & eating & feeding people:

Tuesday: Garlicy chickpea Vegetable soup
Wednesday: Brown rice, BBQ crispy tempeh, veggie stir fry
Thursday: Vegan BLT sandwich (i am addicted to these and have been having one almost everyday this week)
Friday: Matzah ball soup with a lot of vegetables from the farm thrown in
Today: Vegan coleslaw (what would I ever do without my beloved Vegenaise?)
Veggie stir fry with tofu
Roasted potatoes and sweet potatoes with olive oil, lots of chopped up garlic, cinnamon, and agave
Roasted butternut squash

We've been getting sooo many vegetables from the farm every week still it's been a challenge to use them all up each week.  I was really good today - I used a lot of potatoes/carrots/broccoli in the soup, used up most of the cabbage in the slaw, even threw in some radishes into the slaw - it came out good!, used up one of the squashs, used up the sweet poatoes, some more potatoes....used the whole bok choy in the sir fry and the red pepper.

Now I need to make something that calls for lots of pears and apples.
